Michiko worked as a lead designer for The Bermondsey Project by KPF, a major build-to-rent development in South London, fosters a diverse community in a revitalizing area. This scheme integrates historic buildings and industrial heritage near the Underground, capitalizing on railway arches. This 12-acre project, on the former Peek Frean site, provides 1,548 rental homes, a school, offices, retail, and community spaces with enhanced streetscapes. Height creates a local beacon, while new routes through railway arches improve connectivity between historic sites and Bermondsey's central marketplace. Each plot is uniquely designed to respond to its context, maintaining cohesive elements across the scheme.
